Aristocrats

We behave like an aristocratic family.

Build on shiny grounds,

Scandals behind the curtains.

Pretending to be perfect.

Perfection in every celebration

every day.

The black sheep

has to be excluded,

never be accepted

but can sit still at the same table.

No one could ever write

a wrong word.

Control mechanisms,

just no new scandal.

A princess who has too much passion.

A lady who doesen't fit in.

A restless traveller

who doesen't find the way home.

She wants to get rid

of this brilliant play

they play every time.

Sparkling rooms and

fake laughter.

The glimmer fades,

the curtains close.

She leaves the play.
